The Blue Vigil RS1000 Tether System has been designed for DJI Matrice 200 series drones along with the DJI Inspire 1 and Inspire 2 enables unlimited flight time when connected to a power source. Advexure's kit includes everything you need to achieve tethered flight with these aircraft. Included is the RS1000 Tether, Battery Replacement Module (for 24V), and the DJI Accessory/Compatibility Kit which is used to modify your aircraft's battery for compatibility with the RS1000 Tether. The RS1000 can support up to 1500 watts of sustained power with 24V off-the-shelf voltages.

Unlimited Flight Time with the Matrice 200, Inspire 1 or Inspire 2

When time is of the essence you no longer have to worry about landing to switch out batteries, stay airborne! With the Blue Vigil RS1000 Tether System your flights are endless and flight time is unlimited. Everyone wishes there were batteries for the Matrice 200 that could achieve a longer flight time, but unfortunately the TB55 Flight Battery is the largest capacity battery available for the Matrice 200 series. In order to achieve longer flight times with your M210 or M200, look no further than the RS1000 Tether System for Matrice 210 drones.

Launch It & Leave It – Once you have your aircraft at your desired altitude, the majority of compatible aircraft with GPS positing will generally be able to hold their positioning and the operator will not need to constantly make inputs to keep the aircraft in position. It's also worth noting that tethered flight systems are not characterized the same way as standard drone operations are with the FAA. We highly recommend checking into the current regulations, but you may not be required to have a PIC and VO on the tethered drone operation at all times.

DJI Matrice 200/210/210 RTK Tether System

The Blue Vigil RS1000 has quickly become the most commonly used tether for the Matrice 210, along with the Matrice 200 and Matrice 210 RTK models. The tether system is compatible with both TB50 and TB55 batteries and requires a small modification to one of the batteries. The included Battery Modification Kit (often referred to as the BRM, Battery Replacement Module) provides everything you need to modify one of your TB50 or TB55 batteries so that it can work with the RS1000 Matrice 200 tether.

DJI Inspire 2 Tether System

The DJI Inspire 2 is often used for live streaming at concerts, festivals, sporting events, parades or many other types of events where a continuous live stream is being broadcasted from the drone. Inspire 2 drone tethers negate the need to land every 20-25 minutes to swap out your battery. The RS1000 Tether is one of the easiest and safest ways to achieve longer flight times with the Inspire 2.

DJI Inspire 1 Tether System

Even though the DJI Inspire 1 is being discontinued from production, it's still a very common aircraft in the field today and most popular amongst public safety agencies as it was the first DJI aircraft to be compatible with the Zenmuse XT Thermal Camera. The RS1000 is fully compatible with both the TB47 and TB48. As will all other compatible aircrafts and batteries, you will need to modify your battery for use with the tether by following all instructions included with the BRM (Battery Replacement Module) that Advexure includes with the RS1000 tether system kit.

How does the tether work?
Essentially you have a ground unit that contains a spool of tether line that runs to the drone. Your ground unit can either be plugged into a regular wall outlet or could be powered by a generator or inverter.
