First off, battery cell errors can apply to all batteries for all aircraft so this information is not applicable to any one product line. Battery cell errors can arise from a multitude of different things, including but not limited to the following list:
- Too deep of discharging
- Firmware update error
- Lack of use
- Extreme heat/cold exposure
- Poor battery maintenance
Unfortunately we are a bit limited in what we can do if a battery error arises. If you do encounter a battery error our best recommendation would be to safely run the battery to very low capacity and then proceed to recharge the battery. When complete check the battery settings menu and observe cell voltage deviations. Each cell in the battery should be at or very close to the same cell voltage.
If you do not have any luck bringing the battery to a normal operational state we would recommend sending the battery in to your local DJI Service Facility for replacement under warranty. DJI flight batteries have a 6 month or 200 charge cycle warranty (whichever comes first). Click here to proceed to creating a DJI Warranty Case.
