DJI Matrice 350 Series FAQ

What is the ingress protection (IP) rating of the DJI Matrice 350 RTK? Can I fly this drone in the rain?

The M350 drone is IP55 rated. This rating can decrease due to normal wear and tear over time. Avoid flying the aircraft in rainfall heavier than 100 mm within 24 hours.

What propellers come with the DJI Matrice 350 RTK?

The standard 2110s Propellers are included. You can also opt for the 2112 High-Altitude Low-Noise Propellers if you need additional performance in specialized environments.

Can I use the propellers from the Matrice 300 RTK on the M350?

Yes, but only one type of propeller should be used at a time. Do not mix two different propeller types on the same flight.

Can I replace the M350 RTK propellers myself?

Yes. Be sure to replace the corresponding screws as well and apply a small amount of threadlocker (243 recommended) on the new screw threads.

How long does it take to fully charge two TB65 Intelligent Flight Batteries?

With a 220V power supply, it takes about 60 minutes to fully charge two TB65 batteries, or about 30 minutes to go from 20% to 90%. At 110V, it takes about 70 minutes for a full charge, or roughly 40 minutes to go from 20% to 90%.

Does the DJI Matrice 350 RTK support the TB60 Intelligent Flight Battery?

Yes, but only two TB60 batteries can be used at the same time. Mixing TB60 and TB65 batteries in the same flight is not supported.

Yes, but only two TB60 batteries can be used at the same time. Mixing TB60 and TB65 batteries in the same flight is not supported.

During extended storage, the battery automatically discharges to approximately 50% to maintain health and extend its lifespan. It is normal for the battery to feel warm while this is happening.

Can I use the TB65 Intelligent Flight Battery in low-temperature environments?

Yes. The TB65 battery can operate between -20° and 50° C (-4° and 122° F). In cold conditions, flight time will be reduced, so plan missions accordingly. Keeping the battery temperature above 15° C (59° F) before flight is recommended. For charging in temperatures from -20° to 5° C (-4° to 41° F), the battery will automatically heat before charging. Once installed in the aircraft and powered on, the battery will continue to warm to about 16° to 20° C (60.8° to 68° F).

What is the service life of the TB65 Intelligent Flight Battery?

Service life is determined by whichever of these limits is reached first: 12 months, 400 cycles, or 120 days of high-power storage.

Can I carry the TB65 Intelligent Flight Battery onto an airplane?

No. The TB65 battery has an energy rating of 263 Wh, which exceeds airline regulations for carry-on items.

How do the fans of the BS65 Intelligent Battery Station work?

They automatically turn on or off and adjust speed based on both ambient and battery temperatures to maintain optimal cooling.

How many batteries can be charged simultaneously in the BS65 Intelligent Battery Station?

The BS65 station can store eight TB65 Intelligent Flight Batteries and four WB37 Intelligent Batteries at once, and it can charge two TB65 batteries plus one WB37 battery at the same time. Batteries with higher remaining power receive priority charging before those with lower power levels.

How do I charge the DJI RC Plus?
