DJI Terra Pro

DJI Terra is an advanced 3D model reconstruction software designed to revolutionize the field of mapping and surveying. Utilizing cutting-edge photogrammetry technology at its core, DJI Terra enables accurate and efficient reconstruction of both 2D and 3D models from visible light imagery. Moreover, it seamlessly integrates with DJI LiDAR for enhanced data processing capabilities, ensuring precise results for a variety of applications such as land surveying and mapping, power transmission, emergency services, construction, transportation, and agriculture.

3D Models

Realistic 3D models can be produced in three different resolutions: high, medium, and low. Through the utilization of AI technology, water surfaces within the models are automatically optimized. The software exports formats commonly utilized in various industries for image reconstruction. These industries include surveying and mapping, accident site analysis, monitoring power grid equipment, and tracking progress in construction projects.

2D Maps

The algorithm is finely tuned to different scenarios, enhancing processing efficiency, preventing image warping and distortion, and ensuring precise and detailed measurement outcomes for all targeted objects and surveyed areas.

LiDAR

With a simple click, you can execute precise processing of point cloud data captured by the Zenmuse LiDAR within DJI Terra. This includes route calculation, precise fusion of point cloud and visible light data, accuracy optimization, ground point extraction, DEM generation, and output of mission reports.

Multispectral

By leveraging multispectral data obtained from DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral and P4 Multispectral, vegetation index maps like NDVI and NDRE can be generated. These maps offer valuable insights into plant growth and health. Additionally, the software supports radiometric correction and facilitates the creation of reflectance maps, beneficial for remote sensing research.

What are the computer requirements for 2D and 3D reconstruction with DJI Terra?

A Windows 7 or above (64 bits) system and necessary hardware configuration are required when using the DJI Terra.

Standalone computation:
Minimum system requirements: 32G RAM, 4G graphics RAM (the computing power for the NVidia graphics should be shader model 3.0 or better).
Recommended system requirements: 64G RAM or more. NVidia 2070 graphics or higher.
Where configuration requirements are met, every additional 10G of free memory can process additional 4,000 photos. More advanced configurations will enable more photos to be processed and faster reconstruction. Different hardware configurations will have no impact on the model results generated.

Can I still use paid features of DJI Terra without an internet connection?

Yes. For the offline version, once installed, all paid features operate without an internet connection. For the online version, you must have an internet connection to login, however, you can continue to DJI Terra's paid features offline without logging in again for up to 3 days.

Can I unbind devices from DJI Terra licenses? 

Yes, you can unbind your DJI Terra Pro. To unbind, please contact DJI Support. The 1-device licenses can be unbound once in each natural year. 

What features are restricted in the offline version?

The following online features are not available in Offline Mode:
- Unlocking GEO Zones
- Map loading and location searching
- Without logging into a DJI account, some flight control functions in DJI Terra are restricted

Can third party point clouds be imported into DJI Terra?

Yes, LAS point cloud files can be imported. 

Are lifetime updates and upgrades included with a DJI Terra Pro Perpetual (Permanent) license?

No, the Upgrade and Maintenance fee per year for Terra Pro Permanent licenses is $440.
