Do Inspired Flight aircraft come equipped with Remote ID?
Yes. All Inspired Flight systems that are configured with a Herelink GCS come with Remote ID pre-installed per FAA guidelines.

Yes, but batteries will need to be shipped via ground shipping.
What camera do you recommend for inspection?
Inspired Flight’s most popular sensor is the Workswell WIRIS Enterprise camera. This EO/IR package combines a 640 × 512 radiometric thermal core, 30× optical-zoom RGB, 16 MP wide RGB, and a 1 500 m laser range-finder—plus bundled thermography software.
Are Inspired Flight aircraft RTK or PPK enabled?
Inspired Flight aircraft are enabled to receive RTK corrections out of the box. PPK capability is available for an additional cost, as the standard receivers onboard the aircraft cannot log and record correction data.
What is the safe operating temperature range for the IF800 Tomcat and its IB388 batteries?
Both the airframe and the smart batteries are rated for –10 °C to 45 °C (14 °F – 113 °F). Fly and store the system within this envelope for optimal performance and safety.
How much wind can the IF800 Tomcat handle?
The aircraft is tested for sustained winds up to 25 mph (40 km/h) with gusts to 31 mph (50 km/h), corresponding to Beaufort 6 conditions.
What is the maximum payload capacity?
The Tomcat carries up to 3 kg / 6.6 lb of payload while staying within its 11.6 kg (25.7 lb) MTOW limit.
Are the IB388 batteries hot-swappable?
Yes. The intelligent IB388 packs can be swapped one-at-a-time without shutting down the aircraft or payload, enabling continuous operations.
How do I hot-swap batteries in the field?
1. With the aircraft hovering or on the ground, remove one depleted pack while the other stays installed.
2. Insert a fully-charged pack and verify its green blinking status LED.
3. Repeat the process for the second battery, then confirm both packs report healthy status in IGC before continuing flight.
What items should be on my pre-flight checklist?
Key points include: landing gear locked, arms latched, prop locks removed, batteries at the same charge level and secured, communication link established, HDOP < 0.7, and a clear launch area.
