Due to the fact that batteries are used in pairs for safety, redundancy and longer flight time on the Inspire 2, it is highly recommended by both Advexure and DJI to always operate batteries in the same pairs. Charging and discharging batteries in pairs yields the longest possible flight time and maximizes the useful life of batteries.
To pair batteries within DJI GO4, navigate to the Battery Settings Menu and if the batteries are not already paired, there will be a button to "Pair". Simply tapping the button pairs the batteries. Batteries should be labeled in pairs so that the same two batteries are always used at the same time and cycled in tandem at the same rate. Labeling batteries also assists with battery management and flight logging. With each battery you will receive a sheet of sticker labels to label batteries.
