The DJI 240W USB-C Power Adapter is required when using the charging hub to charge Intelligent Flight Batteries.

The charging hub is only compatible with the BPX230-6768-22.14 Intelligent Flight Battery. DO NOT use the charging hub with other battery models.

Place the charging hub on a flat and stable surface when in use. Make sure the device is properly insulated to prevent fire hazards.

DO NOT attempt to touch the metal terminals on the battery ports. Clean the metal terminals on the battery case with a clean, dry cloth if there is any noticeable buildup

What charging modes does the hub support?
The charging hub supports two modes:
- Standard Mode: Sequentially charges each battery to 100%.
- Ready-to-Fly Mode: Sequentially charges each battery to 90% and keeps it there for quick usage.
How long does it take to charge a battery?
From 15% to 100% in Standard Mode: approximately 40 minutes. From 15% to 90% in Ready-to-Fly Mode: approximately 30 minutes.
Can I use other USB-C chargers or third-party adapters to power the charging hub?
No. The charging hub is designed to work only with DJI-approved adapters and accessories.
Can I charge a Matrice 4D Series battery while it’s still on the aircraft?
No. Batteries must be removed from the drone before placing them in the charging hub.
Can the 240W Charging Hub be powered via DJI Power series portable stations?
Yes. Connect the charging hub to the station’s SDC port. Make sure your power station has the latest firmware to ensure proper functionality.
What are the environmental conditions for charging?
The charging temperature range is 5° C to 40° C (41° F to 104° F). Performance may vary outside these conditions.
Is there anything special to consider when switching between charging modes?
Use the toggle switch on the side of the hub to switch modes. Confirm the selected mode in the indicator light or the DJI Pilot 2 app, ensuring you match your operational needs (longer storage vs. rapid turnover).
Do I need to update firmware for the charging hub?
The hub may receive firmware updates through the Matrice 4D Series ecosystem. If prompted by the DJI Pilot 2 app or DJI Assistant 2 (Enterprise Series), follow on-screen instructions to keep the charging hub updated.
