The GeoCue TrueView 625 (TV625) is a high-accuracy 3D imaging payload that pairs the RIEGL miniVUX-1UAV laser scanner with triple RGB cameras for dense, colorized point clouds. Built on the same architecture as the 655/660, TV625 adds mobile-mapping upgradability and NDAA compliance—delivering premium precision in a budget-conscious package.

TrueView 3D Imaging—LiDAR + Imagery

Collect survey-grade LiDAR and synchronized imagery in a single flight for efficient surfaces, features, and orthos.

  • LiDAR engine: RIEGL miniVUX-1UAV with up to five returns per pulse and selectable pulse rates up to 100 kHz.
  • Usable range: ~100 m on targets > 20% reflectivity.
  • Scanner precision/accuracy: 10 mm precision; 15 mm accuracy (sensor level).
  • System performance (typical): ~20 mm precision on a single strip (≤15 mm at 75 m on concrete); ~3 cm 3D RMSE typical (≤5 cm depending on GNSS/control).

Triple-camera imaging

Three Sony IMX-183, 1-inch, 20 MP RGB sensors (60 MP per payload) deliver clear colorization and planimetric context. Optional upgrades to higher-resolution cameras (e.g., Sony RX1R II or a7R) are available—ask sales for details.

Precision Trajectory with Applanix

TV625 uses the Applanix APX-15 for tightly-coupled GNSS/INS.

  • Position: ~20–50 mm
  • Attitude: ~0.025° roll/pitch; ~0.08° heading

NDAA-Compliant and Mobile-Mapping Ready

All 600-series payloads are NDAA-compliant and can be upgraded for dual-purpose drone and mobile mapping, extending your investment from airborne to vehicle workflows.

LP360 Drone Workflow Included

Streamline production with LP360 Drone, including Strip Align and Photo add-ons. Import multi-flight projects, visualize in synchronized 2D/3D/profile windows, perform automated strip adjustment, and generate fast ortho backdrops—without leaving the environment.

Featured Applications

  • Rail inspection
  • Wire extraction — distribution
  • Road design

Payload & Integration

  • Mass: ~2.44 kg (payload unit only; excludes battery, mount, antenna, power adapter)
  • Platforms: Designed for flexible integration across professional UAVs; mobile-mapping upgrade available
