Tune Your Astro Max Isolator for Your Payload
The Freefly Astro Max Vibration Isolator Cartridge Set allows you to configure the Astro Max Isolator for different payload weights and flying conditions. Available in 30A, 50A, and 70A durometers, each cartridge provides a different level of stiffness, allowing operators to select the appropriate isolation characteristics for their specific payload and operating conditions.
Each cartridge is laser engraved with its durometer rating for quick and easy identification in the field. Cartridges can also be swapped in the field when changing payloads or operating requirements.
Choose the Right Durometer
The Astro Max Vibration Isolator uses different cartridge stiffness ratings to accommodate different payload configurations and flight conditions.
Available options:

Extended landing gear is required for all Freefly payloads when using the Astro Max Isolator to provide adequate vertical payload clearance. Extended landing gear is recommended for most third-party payloads as well.

Important Compatibility Information
This cartridge is NOT compatible with Legacy Astro.
The cartridge works only with the Astro Max Isolator bracket installed on Astro Max drones.
Additionally, the Astro Max Isolator requires extended landing gear for proper vertical payload clearance with Freefly payloads.
For example, the LR1 Payload and Wiris Pro payloads are too tall to operate with the Astro Max Isolator when the Astro Max is equipped with the standard folding Astro landing gear.

Can I change the cartridge in the field?
Yes. The cartridges are designed to be swapped in the field. Installation requires a 2mm hex driver.
Does this work with Legacy Astro?
No. These cartridges are designed exclusively for the Astro Max Isolator on Astro Max drones.

Yes. Extended landing gear is required for vertical payload clearance when using the Astro Max Isolator with Freefly payloads and is recommended for most third-party payloads.
Does the cartridge include the Astro Max Isolator?
