How many models are in the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise Series, and what distinguishes them?

The DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise Series includes three models:

  • Mavic 3 Enterprise (M3E): Features a 20MP wide-angle camera with a 4/3 CMOS sensor and a telephoto camera, optimized for mapping and general inspections.
  • Mavic 3 Thermal (M3T): Includes a 48MP wide-angle camera with a 1/2-inch CMOS sensor, a telephoto camera, and a thermal imaging sensor for specialized thermal applications.
  • Mavic 3 Multispectral (M3M): Designed for precision agriculture, equipped with multispectral imaging capabilities.

What are the main features of the Mavic 3 Thermal's thermal camera?
The Mavic 3T’s thermal camera delivers a 640 × 512 radiometric resolution with features like point and area temperature measurement, high-temperature alerts, customizable thermal color palettes, and isotherms.

What use cases or industries is the Mavic 3 Thermal best for? 
The Mavic 3 Thermal's 640x512 thermal capabilities make it ideal thermal drone for search and rescue operations, firefighting and hotspot identification, building and infrastructure inspections (that require thermal), law enforcement, private security, wildlife monitoring, as well as solar and roof inspections. 

Can the Mavic 3 Thermal be used for mapping?
While mapping is possible, the Mavic 3T’s 1/2" CMOS wide camera is not ideal for detailed photogrammetry. For mapping, a drone with a larger RGB sensor, such as the Mavic 3 Enterprise, is recommended.

Can the Mavic 3 Thermal be used for precision surveying?
The Mavic 3T can perform surveying tasks, including thermal mapping, but for high-precision RTK-enabled surveys, the Mavic 3 Enterprise is the better choice.

What is the temperature measurement range of the Mavic 3 Thermal's thermal camera?
The temperature measurement range is -20°C to 150°C in high gain mode and 0°C to 500°C in low gain mode

Can the Mavic 3 Thermal be used for night operations?
Yes, the Mavic 3T is designed for night missions such as emergency response, inspections, and search and rescue, leveraging its thermal imaging technology.

Does the Mavic 3 Thermal support split-screen viewing for its cameras?
Yes, the DJI RC Pro Enterprise allows simultaneous split-screen viewing for side-by-side comparisons of thermal and optical imagery.

Are there common accessories between the previous generation Mavic 2 Enterprise and Mavic 3 Enterprise series?
No, accessories from the Mavic 2 Enterprise Series are not compatible with the Mavic 3 Enterprise Series.

No, they are not.

Technically, yes. However, it's recommended to use the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise Series Propellers for enterprise aircraft. 

How long does it take to charge a Mavic 3 Enterprise battery?
It takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes to fully charge a Mavic 3 Intelligent Flight Battery using the DJI USB-C Power Adapter (100W) with the DJI Mavic 3 Battery Charging Hub (100W)​

Can the loud speaker and RTK module be used simultaneously?
No, the speaker and the RTK module cannot be used simultaneously​​.

Can the loud speaker be use don a DJI M3T/M3E aircraft other than the original one it was bound to or used on?
Yes, the loud speaker and other accessories aren't bound to any specific Mavic 3 Enterprise series aircraft. 

Does the Mavic 3T support DJI's D-RTK 2 Mobile Station?
Yes, the M3E/T is compatible with the D-RTK 2 Mobile Station using Mode 5 (Broadcast Mode)

What accessories are supported by the PSDK port on top of the Mavic 3T aircraft?
This PSDK port supports the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise Series Speaker and RTK Module, as well as third-party PSDK accessories designed specifically for the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise Series.

DJI's Care Enterprise plan comes standard with all enterprise/commercial drone systems and provides additional support and coverage in case of accidents or damages, to use Care Enterprise, the aircraft must be recovered to be sent into DJI for replacement. Care Enterprise for the Mavic 3 Thermal is available in three (3) options:

Basic (1-Year): Provides one (1) year of coverage against damage caused by user error. The plan offers up to two (2) replacements within the year of coverage. The replacement fee for the both replacements is $320. Care Enterprise Basic on the Mavic 3 Thermal can be renewed after the first year for up to two (2) additional years and has a renewal fee of $499. In each additional year, users have two replacement options with a replacement fee of $320 each. Care Enterprise cannot be renewed beyond three (3) years.

Basic (2-Year): Provides two (2) years of coverage against damage caused by user error. The plan offers up to four (4) replacements within the two (2) years of coverage. The replacement fee for each replacement is $320. Care Enterprise can be renewed for one additional year to a total of three (3) years of coverage.

Basic coverage also includes one standard maintenance service per one (1) year of coverage.

Plus (1-Year): Provides one (1) year of coverage against damage caused by user error. The Plus plan offers unlimited aircraft replacements within the coverage amount for the one (1) year period of the coverage plan. Plus coverage can also be "pooled" or shared amongst a fleet, if all platforms are purchased with Plus and bound together in the same 30-day period. Care Enterprise Plus on the Mavic 3 Thermal can be renewed after the first year for up to two (2) additional years and has a renewal fee of $999 which provides an additional coverage amount of $4,999.

Plus coverage also includes one standard maintenance service per one (1) year of coverage.
